Why We Made This
"I was frustrated. Every product on the shelf was full of silicones, synthetic polymers, and chemicals I couldn't pronounce. And none of them actually worked."
Growing up, my grandmother had a workshop in rural Bavaria. She restored antique furniture using nothing but plant oils, beeswax, and patience. A scratched chair would come in looking like firewood and leave looking like it belonged in a museum. No chemicals. No sanding. Just the right natural ingredients, applied correctly.
When I moved to the US and bought my first home, I inherited a set of oak floors that had seen better days. I went to the hardware store and came back with five different products. So I went back to basics. I spent two years formulating a blend of cold-pressed hemp seed oil, jojoba, shea butter, beeswax, and vitamin E.
