Four wash days, written down as they happened. Here's my verdict.
My daughter sent me one. I put it in a drawer.
I'm 66, and I've owned a lot of things that were supposed to make mornings easier.
Most of them are in that drawer too.
So I gave it two weeks, and wrote down exactly what happened.

Took it out of the drawer.
It's a soft, plush hood with a long tail and a little loop at the back.
My daughter's instructions: bend forward, twist the tail, slip it through the loop.
Took me two goes.
Third time, it took about as long as tying a shoelace.
Note to self: no button. Good.
My fingers and buttons don't get on in the mornings.

Did my whole face with it on.
Moisturizer, then a bit of makeup, both hands.
With the bath towel I'd always have one hand on my head by now.
No drips down my back.
I noticed that because I was waiting for them.
Note to self: hair went from dripping to damp while I got ready.
It does most of the work; I finished with the dryer as usual.

First wash.
Into the machine on cold and gentle, then hung up to air dry.
Which is when I hit the snag: it was still drying when I wanted it on Monday.
Back to the bath towel for one morning, and I'd forgotten how much I didn't miss it.
Note to self: need two.

Second one arrived on Thursday. One on my head, one on the hook.
That's the system now. Why it works, as far as I can tell:
It isn't just a towel.
It's out of the drawer for good, and the bath towel is back where it belongs: on me after the shower, not on my head.
See the Eira wrap →Rated 4.6 out of 5, based on 179 reviews on the Eira product page
The plush feel is lovely. I had to practice the twist once or twice. It keeps wet hair off my robe and shoulders.
Good quality wrap. It needed one wash before it felt as plush as I wanted. It is especially handy while doing skincare.
I bought one for myself and came back for another as a gift.
I love how lightweight it feels on my head. No slipping around while I do skincare. It keeps wet hair off my robe and shoulders.
No ticking clock here. Just the honest situation:
The offer is on right now. Two for $39, or four for $69.
Offers change. We can't promise this one will still be here the next time you look.

That works out at $19.50 a wrap in the pair, and $17.25 a wrap in the four.
Why two or four?
Learn from my Day 7: get two, so one can dry while you wear the other.
Four if you're sharing.

Here's what to do next:
P.S. If you're a sceptic like me, give it the same two weeks.
